Abstract
Facing the next generation of mobile communications, the form of base stations is evolving towards diversification, which imposes rich and differentiated high-standard requirements on base station electromagnetic filters: 1. Broadband (supporting more frequency bands and possessing stronger anti-interference capabilities); 2. High output power (high power handling); 3. Extreme miniaturization (compatible with ultra-dense Massive MIMO antenna units); 4. Low loss (reducing insertion loss). However, there is an inherent physical contradiction between performance enhancement and size reduction. Exploring new electromagnetic resonators, new materials, and new processes to overcome such contradictions will become a key technology to drive the development of next-generation mobile communication infrastructure.
